Your team, organization and billing

Obra is built around your organization: invite teammates by email and everyone works from the same projects, clients and categories. Each person gets a role — the Owner (one per organization, holds billing), Admins who see everything, Members who work the projects they're assigned to, and External collaborators, a free role with a hard ceiling on what it can ever access.

On projects, you hand out ready-made role presets instead of individual switches — for example Expense Contributor for someone who only submits expenses, or Finance Reviewer for someone who approves them.

Every new account starts with a 14-day Pro trial of the full product — no credit card. After that, one plan: $12 per seat per month, or $120 per seat per year. Seats follow your team automatically — you don't buy seats, you invite people — and External collaborators are never a paid seat.

The Owner subscribes and manages everything from the Billing page: card, invoices and cancellation live in a secure Stripe portal, and the same page shows this month's receipt-scan usage.

When the trial ends, nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden. The Free plan keeps one project active — you pick which — while the others become read-only, and receipt scans drop to 20 a month. Teammates' access is paused until you subscribe again; External collaborators keep working.

From the Organization page an owner or admin can export everything as a ZIP of CSV files — projects, transactions, clients, change orders and more — ready for a spreadsheet or an accountant. No lock-in, no asking permission.
